This year I have been able to get an artist residence at the scenic arts project “Leal.lav” in Tenerife Island for ten days with my art contemporary project “uNpACKAGING” a garbage performance that shows the problem with the excess of massive packaging we have around us in everywhere, in every product we buy.
This contemporary scenic piece talks about the massive consumption and how we, human beings are part of this world problem as consumers and as builders of this society (businesses, industries and process of design we create).
A piece that can be set from 10 minutes to 2 hours (depending on where), and one performer doing a hard exercise to work with her body and all the garbage we generate in just ten days.
This art piece connect the work with the body, the re-work, the repetition, the connection between the public and their own garbage.
It is very important the public interaction at the scene to build it with the performer.
Every performance is different, every act is different, every photography is different…
This artwork is built with garbage produce by a typical consumer process in ten days.

This scenic piece is constantly growing as part of the experimental art process and the research made every year.
Some people talks about ecoarts or activism, another about environmental arts, art interventions, trashart…. I just play with trash, image and you public.
The stage is full of garbage, full of trash. Just ten days garbage fit the stage to show and perform this environmental problem.
